Kapparot Online

Kapparot is a widespread custom that has been practiced since the late Talmud times. Kapparot means "Atonement",  and is performed in preparation for Yom Kippur “the Day of Atonement.” Kapparot is traditionally performed with a live chicken, or with money, reciting a prayer and then donating the proceeds to Tzedakah or Torah Institutions.
